What your role involves and what you enjoy about it the most and/or what’s most difficult about it?
As a Service & Installation Engineer for CEM Solutions, my role involves installing and maintaining our advanced emissions monitoring systems, including ones at Crematoriums throughout the UK.
I enjoy the hands-on nature of the job and the opportunity to travel to different locations, particularly our recent CGA12 installations in Northern Ireland and ROI.
The most challenging aspect is troubleshooting complex technical issues on the spot, but it’s incredibly satisfying when everything comes together and works perfectly.
Something no one here knows about you (or very few people!) – a quirky fact!!!!
My colleagues possibly aren’t aware that I am competing in my first bodybuilding competition in May next year. It’s a hobby that keeps me fit and mentally sharp and it’s something I’m very passionate about outside of work.
When you’re not working what do you enjoy doing / what would be your ideal weekend?
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s walking, training, or just exploring new places. My ideal weekend would involve a camping trip with the family, complete with a bonfire and some good music. And yes, I’m also in the midst of trying to help my partner plan our upcoming wedding, which has been both exciting and a bit overwhelming as I am pretty useless at this kind of thing!
