VOC Analysers
Volatile Organic Compounds, also known as VOC, isn’t one specific substance, it is a group of compounds emitted as gases into the air from different products and processes. Paints, solvents, aerosols, adhesives and cleaning products all produce VOCs.
All of our VOC gas detectors are MCERTS certified and approved. If you require VOC gas analysers, simply contact our team today and we’ll be happy to help.
Industrial VOC gas detectors
The VOC gas detectors we supply can be purchased or hired directly from CEM Solutions. If you require a short-term solution, we recommend hiring the VOC analyser as you only pay for the time that you require with no additional or hidden charges.
We guarantee that our volatile organic compound detectors are cost efficient, reliable, tested, certified and up-to-date with the latest monitoring technology.
Why monitor VOC levels?
Exposure to VOC does have detrimental effects on health and this can include headaches, dizziness, nausea, coughing, throat irritation and allergic skin reactions.
Building managers need to monitor their VOC levels to ensure they are within the safe limits and identify trends, furthermore this helps compliance with the WELL Building Standard and IAQ Guidelines.
As there are many different types of VOCs, these are often grouped together and monitored as a TVOCs (Total Volatile Organic Compounds) They can be measured in micrograms per cubic meter or air, milligrams per cubic meter, parts per million or parts per billion.
Measurements less than 0.3mg are considered low TVOC levels, however measurements between 0.3mg to 0.5mg are acceptable.
Data recorded is measured in near real-time and this is highly accurate. The data recorded can be used to monitor overall air quality levels and detect any potentially dangerous exposure to VOCs, this data can then help you make informed decisions to improve the air quality levels for your premises.
