Two members of our Service Team, Tom Blackham (Service Manager) and Steffan Caines (Senior CEMS Engineer) carried out advanced training on the MCA10 Analyser at Dr. Foedisch’s factory on the outskirts of Leipzig, Germany.
This involved modules in MCA10 cross sensitivity and linearity testing, enabling them to carry out more in-depth checks of systems on site to ensure optimal performance is maintained throughout the life of the instrument.
Advanced diagnostic retrieval and analysis helps to facilitate remote support, a service that we now provide with automated data analysis routines greatly increasing the level of monitoring possible whilst simultaneously reducing the time required.
As a result of the training, their capabilities have broadened to carrying out an extended range of service activities on site, minimising the possibility of needing to ever remove the system. Additionally, they have provided internal training to the wider team as well as our customer base. Our mantra is definitely to empower our clients with knowledge so that they have the confidence to operate, interrogate and ultimately trust the systems – we are of course there when they need us.
The training has gone hand in hand with the procurement of a second Hovacal gas divider with Evaporator. This industry leading tool keeps our service departments capability at the highest level – an instrument is after all only as good as its calibration.
